RIOTS are a punk band from Oslo, Norway. The band features 3 different nations. Sweden, England and Norway.

The roots formed in 2000 as Goldcrush, and after several line-up changes they changed their name to Riots in 2010.

They have toured the UK, Europe (3 times) and completed a 10 date China tour, and have played everything from large festival stages to small sweaty clubs. … And they have been on TV in China and in Poland.

They have shared a stage with bands such as UK Subs, Discharge, Stiff Little Fingers, Sham 69, Ruts DC, The Last Resort and Control amongst others and have been the backing band for Charlie Harper (UK Subs) a couple of times.

In December 2015 Riots were invited to play main support for the annual Peter and the Test-Tube Babies Xmas tour of Germany.

Riots have self released a 7" vinyl EP, a 7" flexi-disc and a 12" vinyl LP. A split 7" vinyl EP - Together We Stand was released in March 2015 on Germany's Randale Records with one of the UK's biggest selling punk/oi bands at present - Control.

In January 2016 came the long awaited new full length release on Randale Records - It Will Never Change. First on CD, and to be released on vinyl in March.

Riots received excellent reviews for their 2012 S/T LP. Here are some of them …

- "Inexhaustible energy from start to finish." – Deichmann Library blog, Norway

- "Polished Street punk with Warped tour potential. Lots of great hooks, singalong choruses, and politics in all the right (ie: left) places. Not just rioting, but picketing too! Most excellent." – Maximum Rocknroll magazine, USA
